The reconstruction of more than 90 kilometers of a gravel road in Kandahar province was initiated by the Honorable Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development
The reconstruction work on over 90 kilometers of a gravel road, valued at more than 305 million Afghanis, in the Shorabak district of Kandahar province officially began today in a ceremony led by Al-Hajj Mullah Mohammad Yunus Akhundzada, the Honorable Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development.
The ceremony was attended by the Honorable Minister Al-Hajj Mullah Mohammad Yunus Akhundzada and his accompanying delegation, Mawlawi Dost Mohammad Saad, the head of Rural Rehabilitation and Development for the province, the district governor of Shorabak, a number of other officials, esteemed scholars, elders, and youth.
During the ceremony, the Honorable Minister delivered an important speech, stating:
“We are building our country with our own budget, and we do not accept the favor of others.” He added that reconstruction projects are currently underway throughout the entire country.
During the implementation of this road project, employment opportunities will be provided for hundreds of workers, and upon its completion, the transportation problems of the residents of the mentioned district will be resolved.
