Coordination meeting held with representatives of institutions by the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development

A coordination meeting, led by His Excellency Al-Hajj Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, was held this morning with representatives of institutions regarding water and sanitation.

The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development. It was attended by His Excellency Al-Hajj Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, the Minister; central department heads; representatives from the UNICEF office; the Ministries of Education and Public Health; and a number of other institutions.

At the start of the meeting, Al-Hajj Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of providing safe drinking water for the people. He stated: "Priority should be given to water supply projects in areas where there is a felt need. We and you must work together in close coordination to address the problems of the country's remote areas."

The Minister further added that development projects should be implemented based on the needs of the people, and that coordination among institutions must be strengthened.
