212 various development projects were handed over for utilization in Paktia province.
From the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development and with financial support of UNOPS office, (212) development projects at a cost of approximately (315) million Afghanis in various villages of Gardez, the center of Paktia province and Today during a meeting, these projects were handed over for utilization by the acting Minister of the Ministry Alhaj Mullah Yunus Akhundzada and the accompanying delegation.
In this meeting, the acting Minister of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Alhaj Mullah Muhammad Yunus Akhundzada, the accompanying delegation, the Deputy Governor of Paktia province Inamullah Salahuddin, the Head of the Ulema Council of Paktia province Saleh Mohammad Faqir Sahib, the Director of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Mavlavi Mirzajan Sadiq, and several other officials, elders, and youth participated.
At the mentioned meeting, the honorable minister delivered his valuable speech and said: The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development is committed to implementing development projects in the remote areas of the country utilizing the available facilities.
These projects include the construction and rehabilitation of rural roads, the cleaning of springs, the construction and cleaning of irrigation canals, the construction of irrigation structures, protection walls and gabion walls, culverts and bridges.
During the implementation of these projects, hundreds of workers were provided with job opportunities and upon completion the problems of the residents of various villages of Gardez center were solved in the relevant areas.
