10 check dams are being built in Balkh province by the Ministry of Rural rehabilitation and Development
The Ministry of Rural rehabilitation and development is constructing (10) check dams in Balkh province at cost of more than (40) million Afghanis.
Today, the work of (3) check dams in the districts of this province have been commenced by the Minister of the said ministry Alhaj Mullah Muhammad Yunus Akhundzada along with delegation during series of ceremonies.
In this ceremony, Acting Minister of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Alhaj Mullah Muhammad Yunus Akhundzada, along with delegation delegation, Balkh Province, Maulavi Noorul Hadi Abu Idris, District Governor Maulavi Saifullah Mutasim, head of rural rehabilitation and development and development of this province Maulvi Yar Muhammad Shabeer, scholars,and young people participated.
During the work of these check dams, hundreds laborers of the region will be provided with work, by the construction of these check dams rain water will be retained and underground water level will be maintained.
