Work progress of two development projects costing five million AFN in Samangan province

With the total cost of five million AFN, the implementation of two development projects consist of 253 meters protective wall and 11 meters irrigation Canal has been 99 % completed through the Regional Programs Coordination Office of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) in Tangi Yahqub village located in Darah e Soof district of Samangan province.

During the implementation of the mentioned projects 2379 working days have been created and after completion 1141 villagers will be benefited from the flood risks.

It’s worth mentioning that while, protecting residential houses and agricultural lands from the threat of floods, the mentioned project will also cover 75 acres of agricultural land with regular irrigation.
