WEERDP injected 7 million AFN of seed grant to Lending and saving village unions in Pakita province

The Women Economic Empowerment Rural Development Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development WEERDP/MRRD injected around seven million AFN of seed grant to 200 lending and saving unions with 99 members in Ahmad Abad district and Gardeaz city of Pakita province.

The capital which has been paid in the first and second installments will assist the beneficiaries start up small businesses, build institutions and improve livelihoods in their areas and ensure the economic and social well- being of those societies.

It is worth mentioning that WEERDP has established 32 productive groups in Gardez city and Ahmadabad district, and the mentioned groups have accessed the markets of Gardez city with the help of the employees of this program to sell their products.
