A water supply network construction project costing five million AFN handed over in Sar e pul province

Construction of a water supply network worth five million AFN has been recently completed and handed over by the National Water Supply and Sanitation Program of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) in Zir chaghat village located in Soozma district of Sar e Pul province.

This network has a water well, one iron concrete reservoir with 50 cubic meters capacity, 7 kilometer pipe, 30 solar panels and 22 water taps. It is worth to be stated that previously the residents of Zir e chaght villager faced to a serious lack of drinking water problem and every summer they were provided with emergency water supply by tanker but now, with the construction of the mentioned network, 450 families in this village have gotten directly access to safe drinking water, and their problems in terms of water have been solved
