42 water supply projects completed in 14 provinces during month may of 2019

In the 1st quarter of 2019, 42 water supply projects, which were financially supported by MoF, have been accomplished through the National Water Supply, Sanitation and Irrigation (Ru_WatSIP) Program of the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Ministry (MRRD) in
Badghiz , Bamyan, Herat  , Jawizjan, Kabul , Kandahar , Kapisa , Khust , Nangarhar , Paktiya, Parwan, Takhar and Wardak provinces  , these projects were included  the construction of 17 water supply networks in Muqir , Abgardan and Ballah murghab , Khuwaja do ko of Jawizjan , Samkanay , Zazai Aryoob and Zadran of Paktiya , Panjab and center of Bamyan, Jabulsarj district of Parwan province,  Baharak district of Takhar province, Istalif and Shakardara districts of Kabul , Ismaelkheal  Mandozai and center of Khust province, Chukhchran center of Ghor province and Charasyab district of Kabul province.
Construction of three  latrines  with drilling of 7 water well in schools of Zadran district and drilling of 34 deep and semi deep water wells in Saed kheal district of Parwan province , Esa e awal busood and Chak districts of Wardak province , Yangai qalha and Baharak districts of Takhar province , Shakardarah district of Kabul province , Esa e hawal district and center of Kapisa province , Qalha e Now district of Badghiz province , Dand district of Kandahar , Patan and Zurmat districts of Paktiya  , Ghoryan, Robat and Zana jan districts of Herat  province and Acheen district of Nangarhar province .
The total cost of above-mentioned projects is $ 1,156,306 which $507.576 was paid from the government‘s optional budget and $ 648.730 paid through the UNICEF. With the completion of these projects, 12,000 families have gotten access to drinking water.(potable water )
