Implementations of two protective wall construction projects costing 18 million AFN begun in Kuner province
With the total cost of 18 million AFN, construction of 709 meters protective wall in two sections, was started by the Regional Programs Coordination Office of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in the Karigil area of Suki district in Kunar province.
During the implementation of these projects, 8974 working days have been created and after the completion of 2576 villagers will be benefited.
It is worth mentioning that the mentioned walls will protect a large part of the agricultural lands and residential houses of the local people from the threat of floods, and prevent the financial losses.
