Handing over of a water supply network construction project worth 4.6 million AFN in Balkh province
a water supply network construction project costing 4.6 million AFN has been recently completed and handed over by the National Water Supply and Sanitation Program of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) in Balkhabi village located in Nahr Shahi district of Balkh province.
The network included; a 150- meter deep water well, one concrete reservoir with 20 cubic meters capacity, 30 solar panels, a Surrounding wall, 3,580 km of pipeline and 80 water taps.
During the implementation of the mentioned project 110 working days were created and after its completion, 250 families, that most of them are internally displaced, have gotten access to safe drinking water.
