The construction of two water supply networks and a household water purification system in the districts of Bala Murghab, Qadis, and Qala-e-Naw — the capital of Badghis Province — has been completed at a total cost of 14.5 million Afghanis.

The project was implemented through the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development and officially inaugurated by Haji Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada, the Minister of the Ministry, along with his accompanying delegation.

These networks include 13,887 meters of pipeline, the installation of 241 water taps, and 52 solar panels.

During the implementation of these projects, employment opportunities were provided for dozens of workers, and upon completion, 1,050 families from the mentioned districts and the provincial center have gained access to safe drinking water.
