Work progress of 4.842 km irrigation canal construction project in Kandahar

Construction of 4,842 km irrigation canal project has been 80% completed by the Regional Programs Coordination Office of Coordination Office of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in Mianjui, village located in Dand district of Kandahar province.

During the implementation of this project, 8833 working days have been created and after its completion, 5161 locals will be benefited. It is worth mentioning that the mentioned canal covers a large part of the agricultural lands of the region with regular irrigation and prevents water loss.
