Nine check dams are being built in kunduz province by the Ministry of Rural rehabilitation and Development

The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development is constructing nine check dams at cost of Exceeding 30 million Afghanis in different districts of Kunduz province.

Out of these, the construction of 6 check dams in six districts of this province has recently commenced today from the Minister of the said ministry Alhaj Mullah Muhammad Yunus Akhundzada along with delegation.

In this meeting, the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Rural rehabilitation and Development Alhaj Mullah Muhammad Yunus Akhundzada, the delegation, Maulavi Abdul Ghafoor Shahidzai, the head of the office of the governor of Kunduz province,Maulavi Gul Muhammad Ilyas, the district governor of Imam Sahib district,head of rural rehabilitation and development of this province, Maulavi Asadullah Hamid, scholars,and young people participated.

During the work of these check dams, hundreds of laborers of the region will be provided with work during the construction of these check dams,by the construction of these check dams rain water of the said districts will be retained and the underground water level will be maintained.
