Handing over of a Kareaz construction project costing 3 million AFN in Logar province
With the total cost of three million AFN, a karez construction project was completed and handed over through the Regional Programs Coordination Office of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) in Zardad village, the provincial center of Logar .
The project included the construction of 1.528 kilometers Canal, water reservoir and digging of 58 Kareaz wells.
During the implementation of the mentioned project, 1807 working days were created and by its accomplishment 350 hectares of the agricultural lands have been irrigated and more than 1890 residents of the mentioned area have been benefited.
