Drinking water provided for 250 families in Maidan wordak

The construction work of one solar water supply network completed and handed over through the National Water Supply, Sanitation and Irrigation program of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Ministry (MRRD) in Immigrant Settlement of Narkh district of Maidan wordak province.
This network was built in two phases during seven months, the first phase was installing a solar power system and drilling a well. Which was completed in three months and created 294 lobar days for the local workers. The second phase of the mentioned project which lasted four months, was construction of a water reservoir and Piping inside the houses.
It is worth to be stated that by the construction of the mentioned network, 250 families got access to potable water.
