Clean drinking water provided for 1,000 villagers in Zabul province

With the total cost of 2,279,000 million AFN, a solar powered water supply network construction project completed and handed over by the National Water Supply and Sanitation Program of MRRD in Shahr - e Safa district of Zabul province .

with the completion of this project around 1,000 villagers ,who didn't have suitable water for drinking in the past,gained access to potable water.

the project included the digging of a deep water well, extension of a 1,361- meter long pipes network ,construction of one water reservoir and protection wall for solar panels ,installation of 12 solar panels ,taps and other essential tools .

it's worth to be mentioned that construction affairs of the project created 120 working days.
